Heard learned Advocates for the parties. This application is filed for condonation of delay of 603 days caused in filing the appeal by the claimant for enhancement of amount of compensation in Motor Accident Claim Petition.

This application is vehemently opposed by learned Advocate for respondents No.2. However, for the reasons stated in the application, this application is allowed. The delay stands condoned. It is made clear that the claimant shall not be entitled to receive interest for the delayed period in case the amount of compensation is enhanced.
