I have heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides and the learned AGP.

The learned AGP submits that the District Collector would surely proceed with the pending proceedings strictly in accordance with the law. If the parties have to be permitted to lead evidence, he would ensure that the law as is laid down is followed. The learned Advocates for the respective sides agree to proceed with their pending proceedings before the District Collector from 11.01.2019 and the matter would be adjourned on 08.01.2019. In view of the above, this Civil Application is disposed of and

*2* 91ca342o19 the parties would proceed with their pending proceedings regarding the disqualification sought against the Petitioner. The District Collector shall ensure that the said proceedings are conducted strictly in accordance with the procedure laid down in law.

The learned AGP shall convey this order telephonically to the concerned District Collector and the litigating sides shall, accordingly, apprise the said Authority on 08.01.2019.
