VERSUS

THE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND OTHERS ...

Advocate for Petitioner : Mr. Savale Amit S AGP for Respondents-State: Mrs. S. D. Shelke ...

CORAM

: S. V. GANGAPURWALA & V. L. ACHLIYA , JJ.

DATE : 16th January, 2015 PER COURT :

1.

Mr. Savale, the learned counsel submits that the respondents be directed to provide true and correct information regarding break-up of marks obtained by the petitioner in the interview conducted on 21.06.2007 for the post of Extension Officer (Education). The learned counsel submits that when the information was sought by the petitioner, it was stated that on the said date no interview was conducted. The same is absolutely erroneous. The petitioner is entitled to be appointed as Extension Officer (Education) 2.

The selection process has been completed in the year 2007. The petitioner is seeking the break-up of the marks obtained by her in the interview conducted on 21st June, 2007. The selection process has already been over long back. No fruitful purpose would be served by considering the petition after lapse of seven years. In the light of that the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
