The petitioner's representation/application seeking permission to execute the sale-deed/deed of redemption has been pending with respondent no. 4 (Exh. R) since 19.12.2021.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that this was an application seeking permission in light of the Section 36 and 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code,1966.

We dispose of the writ petition with a direction that if the petitioner's application/representation (Exh. R) has not been decided as yet, it shall be decided in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six weeks.
