We have heard Mr. Salgare, the learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned counsel submits that, the petitioner is entitled for the Selection Grade Pay and Senior Grade Pay from the date of her initial appointment i. e. 01.09.1990, however, the proposal is not forwarded to that effect.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader states that, if the proposal is received by the Education Officer, then the Education Officer would take decision on it in accordance with law.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 5 states that, the letter is already given to the respondent No. 6 to send the proposal in respect of grant of Selection Grade Pay. 4.
The learned counsel for the respondent No. 6 states that, the petitioner is not entitled for the same.

The respondent No. 6 may send the proposal as is directed by the management with regard to grant of selection grade pay and senior grade pay to the petitioner. The respondent No. 6 is entitled to put his own noting on the said proposal. The said proposal shall be forwarded within a period of six (06) weeks from today. On receipt of said proposal the Education Officer shall take decision on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy within a period of six (06) months from the date of receipt of the proposal.
