PER COURT :- The grievance raised in the instant petition is in respect of failure of the Collector to accept the Appeal tendered by the petitioner under the provisions of Land Revenue Code. Respondent no.2 Collector ought to have accepted the appeal presented by the petitioner. It is open for the Collector to take appropriate decision in the appeal, however, the Appellate authority shall not refuse to accept the appeal.

In the circumstances, this petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to take decision on the appeal sent by the petitioner by post on its own merit as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of two months from today and it is accordingly directed.
