On 23/01/2020, this Court had passed the following order while issuing notice :- "1.

According to the petitioners, though the claim of the petitioners' pension and retiral benefits was settled before the Permanent Lok Adalat long back, the payment is not made by respondent No.2.

Issue notice to respondents, returnable on 19.03.2020. The learned Government Pleader waives service of notice for respondent No.1."

We are deeply pained in noting that the petitioners are not paid their dues though the settlement arrived at in the Permanent Lok Adalat in 2017, would indicate that the employer agreed to pay the pension and retiral benefits.

In view of the above, these petitions are disposed off with direction to respondent No.2 that the entire legal dues of these petitioners shall be paid on or before the 15th day of October 2021. Failure to do so, would amount to violation of the directions of this Court. Needless to state, interest component on the amount payable as per the settlement before the Lok Adalat, would also have to be paid along with the above stated amounts.

Pending civil applications, if any, do not survive and stand disposed off.
