The petitioner is working with respondent Nos. 4 and 5, a private minority education institution. It is without any Government grants. The petitioner desires that some of her unpaid amounts should be recovered from the said society.

Considering Article 12 of the Constitution of India, we would not issue a writ of mandamus to a private society with regard to a matter in which the society seems to have withheld certain payments of the petitioner. Such disputed issue cannot be considered and, more so, when the Government has no role to play in such a dispute. 3.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. Needless to state, the petitioner has a remedy of initiating a recovery suit against the management before the appropriate forum.
