Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

It seems that the petitioner has raised limited grievance by way of the present petition. The petitioner entered in the services of State Road Transport Corporation as a Conductor and the post was reserved. The order of appointment placed on record shows that the appointment of the petitioner was subject to submitting the validity certificate to the Corporation. The respondent/Corporation after appointing the petitioner also submitted the claim before Committee for validation and the communication to that effect dated 13.07.2015 is placed on record.

It is the further submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that though certain steps are taken in the matter, namely, calling for report from vigilance cell, there is no further progress in respect of validation of the caste claim of the petitioner and

( 2 ) wp312.19 the apprehends that if the Committee fails to undertake the exercise of validation expeditiously the petitioner may be subjected to an adverse action or a coercive action by the respondent authority against the petitioner.

In view of this limited grievance, we are of the opinion that the petition can be disposed of b y directing respondent No.2 Committee to decide the claim expeditiously, not later than 12 weeks from the order of this Court.

With these directions the petition is disposed of.
