This matter was heard for some time. The learned Advocate submits on instructions that the petitioner prefers to withdraw this petition to raise all points set out in this petition to the extent of the pending issues before the Labour Court. 2.

In the light of the said statement, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to agitate his case on the remaining issues pending before the Labour Court in Complaint (ULP) 2 of 2005.

Since the petitioner makes a request that as Complaint (ULP) No. 2/2005 instituted in January 2005, is pending for the last ten years, it be expedited. The Labour Court shall, therefore, decide Complaint (ULP) No. 2/2005 as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 31-12-2015.
