The applicant wants to get condoned the delay of 2482 days caused in filing appeal challenging his conviction in Sessions Case No. 53 of 2015 by Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Dhule on 19.01.2016. The applicant has been sentenced to suffer imprisonment for life and also, by a separate sentence, sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for seven years for committing offences punishable under Sections 302 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code, respectively. It

909-CriAppln-86-2023 -2can be seen that the applicant was never released on bail after the said conviction and for the said reason, though learned APP is strongly opposing taking into consideration the duration of delay, for the reasons stated in paragraph nos.2 and 3, the delay stands condoned. The application stands allowed and disposed off. 3.
