In view of subsequent developments that have occurred during the pendency of the Writ Petition, particularly a decision taken by the University Grants Commission, whereby the name of the Petitioner is also recommended for grant of exemption, the learned counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this Writ Petition. A prayer is made

The Writ Petition is disposed of as withdrawn. Respondent No.2 shall proceed to pass appropriate orders in the light of the recommendation of the name of the Petitioner by the U.G.C., within four weeks from today. Pending Civil Application is also disposed of.
