The petitioner prays for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to a statutory authority to exercise jurisdiction duly vested in it by law. Ironically, the representation is filed on 19th December, 2022 and on the 12th day, this petition is filed on 1st January, 2023. In our view, the of Writ of Mandamus is not to be issued on the 12th day after a representation is filed.

The learned advocate for the Zilla Parishad submits that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and without causing undue delay, the same would be decided, on it's own merits. 3.
