We have heard Mr. Solanke, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Surwase, the learned counsel for the Acquiring Body and the learned A. G. P.

The affidavit is filed by the Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition) stating that, the petitioner is entitled for compensation as per the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

In light of the above, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive. The said amount of compensation as per the Act of 2013 shall be computed expeditiously, preferably within four (4)

2 WP725.15 months and an amount pursuant there to shall be paid to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within six

(6) months from the date of computation.
