The petitioner claims that the caste certificate issued to him is missing and as such, he intends to take necessary steps to apply before the competent authority for issuance of caste certificate afresh.

If petitioner makes such application, needless to mention that same be decided by the competent authority in pursuance to the provisions of Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Classes (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Act, 2000, Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
