The petitioner is merely seeking the tribe certificate in correct format.

It is being pointed out that unmindful of the request, by the impugned order, respondent No.2 Competent Authority has rejected the application as if he was called upon to consider the request for issuance of a tribe certificate for the first time. It is also being pointed out that even an affidavit dated 24.08.2024 was uploaded with the online application expressly indicating

*2* 947wp354o25 and informing that the petitioner was already possessing a certificate dated 04.05.2013 and it was merely being sought to be replaced.

The Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to appear before respondent No.2 within a week, surrender his original caste/ tribe certificate and respondent No.2 shall thereafter, within two days issue him a fresh certificate in prescribed form-C.
