Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned advocate Mr. Kadam who appears for the State Co-operative Election Authority and the Returning Officer. 2.

The petitioner is objecting to the on-going election programme on the ground that there was no wide publication of the constitution of the committee in a widely circulated newspaper. 3.

The learned advocate Mr. Kadam points out that not only the notice was duly published as is contemplated in law, even the panchanamas were conducted by affixing the notice at five offices including the head office of the co-operative bank and statutory compliances were made.

Learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to avail of appropriate remedy at an appropriate stage.
