Heard. This petition challenges order dated 03.02.2004 rejecting petitioner's claim for freedom fighter benefits. It was case of the petitioner all along that he was under-ground freedom fighter and at one point of time, warrant was issued by Ashti Court against him. He produced copy of warrant but same was not accepted as a proof because verification of the warrant could not be made for want of original record in the Court.

The petitioner also placed reliance on two affidavits of contemporary freedom fighters, but those affidavits are not accepted as a proof. In addition to

( 2 ) wp9521.13 this, the petitioner's claim was not recommended by the District Committee.

The petitioner has very thin case and same deserves to be rejected.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
