The petitioner's proposal for validation of tribe claim is pending with the respondent no. 2 - Scrutiny Committee, since 2006. The petition was filed way back in the year 2013. By the order dated 09 January 2013, ad-interim relief was granted in terms of prayer clause (D) and the Committee was directed to decide the proposal within six months.

It is now being informed that the matter is now pending with the Committee at Dhule.

We dispose of the Writ Petition by directing the Scheduled Tribe Certificate, Scrutiny Committee, Dhule, to decide the petitioner's proposal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four months from today. The petitioner shall co-operate the Scrutiny Committee and shall not protract the hearing.

The interim relief to continue till the Committee adjudicates proposal of the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
