Vide the present Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks directions against the respondents to appoint her as a Untrained Assistant Teacher in accordance with the guidelines contained in the Government resolutions dated 23.6.2008, 31.3.2009 and 1.3.2014. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned AGP for respondent no.1 - State and the learned counsel for respondents No. 2 and 3.

It would be appropriate for the petitioner to make a representation/application to the respondents for considering her for appointment as Assistant Teachers so that the respondents would be in a position to take decision on the same.

In the light of above, we pass the following order: (i) The petitioner shall make a application/representation to the respondents seeking appointment as Assistant Teacher. The said application/representation shall be considered expeditiously by the respondents on its own merits in accordance with law and existing policy and preferably, within three months from the receipt of such application/representation.

(ii) Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
