Present Petition has been filed for directions to respondent No.2 Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner, expeditiously.

After waiving notice for both the respondents, learned AGP, on instructions, makes a statement that the matter is now referred for vigilance inquiry and the tribe claim can be decided within six months.

The petitioner is a student for 12th Science and preparing for NEET-2024 and therefore, he is in need of the tribe certificate. It appears that he had filed the proposal on 4th September 2023.

In view of the same, respondent No.2 to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as early as possible and in any case within a period of four months from today.

With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
