It appears that Regular Civil Suit No. 200 of 1982 had been instituted by the petitioner for eviction of tenants - respondents on various grounds inter alia, bona fide requirement, causing illegal construction without permission and default in making payment of rent. The trial court had held the plaintiff to be entitled to recover Rs.150/- towards rent from January, 1982 to May, 1982 and the plaintiff had been given liberty to recover amount of rent deposited by defendant No. 1 in the court. The plaintiff, therefore, had filed Regular Civil Appeal No. 156 of 1987. However, the appeal had been dismissed way back on 7th April, 1993.

When the matter is called out today, no appearance has been caused on behalf of the petitioners. On 14th June, 2018 as

{2} wp3195-94 well, no appearance had been caused on behalf of the petitioners. As such, the matter had been directed to be put up for appropriate orders.

Having regard to aforesaid and since none appears for the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed in default. Rule stands discharged.
