Heard learned advocate for the petitioner - corporation. 2.

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, purporting to have been aggrieved by interim order dated 30th October, 2018 on application for stay in Regular Civil Appeal No. 119 of 2018 preferred by the respondents, is before this court. 3.

It appears that after 30th October, 2018, petitioner has filed its response to the stay application and the application for stay is still pending for decision.

In the circumstances, it is expedient that the appellate

{2} wp844-19 court proceeds with the application for stay or for that matter, if the parties are ready, even with regular civil appeal, expeditiously and decide the same as early as possible. 5.

In case the Regular Civil Appeal is unlikely to be taken up for hearing within reasonable time, the appellate court should decide application for stay as early as possible and dispose of the same, preferably within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of writ of this order.

As such, writ petition stands disposed of.
