We have heard the learned advocate for the petitioners, the learned A.G.P. and the learned advocate Mr. Thombre, who appears for respondent nos. 4 and 5-Cooperative Bank and its Special Recovery Officer. 2.

Though several issues have been raised, the parties are ad idem that a statutory proceeding preferred by the petitioners under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act 1960, has been pending with respondent no. 1 and the next date given by him is 13.01.2025. However, simultaneously, even the auction is to take place on the same day. 3.

In light of the above, at the joint request of the parties, we dispose of the writ petition directing the parties to appear before respondent no. 1 on 10.01.2025 at 11 a.m. and he shall make every endeavour to decide the proceeding before the actual auction take place. 4.
