By order dated 29.11.2025 this Court granted rule and expedited the same. After transfer of the petition, transfer notice issued to respondent No. 2 could not be served for want of complete address. The respondent No. 4 is served. Other respondents are not served. Notice was awaited and therefore, order of await service was passed for respondent Nos. 1, 3, 5 to 7 on 22.03.2012. It is seen that, thereafter no steps are taken by the petitioner. The proceeding is arising out of Bombay Rent Act. The suit was filed bearing R.C.S. No. 460/1984 for decree of eviction.

This Court finds that, keeping the writ petition pending would not serve any purpose. As it is, no steps are taken after transfer of this petition since 2012 by the petitioner. 3.
