We have considered the nature of relief claimed in the petition in the backdrop of factual matrix which petitioners suffer loss because of thunder storm, they are entitled for aid/compensation from the Government.

We do not see any legal right to the petitioners to claim such compensation. Even if the issue is pending before the Government, it is for the Government to decide the same and this Court cannot prevail over the Government and give directions to the Government and come to the aid of the petitioners.

As such writ petition is dismissed.
