Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioners. He is praying for quashing and setting aside the proceedings pending before the learned J.M.F.C, registered as Cri.M.A.No.134/2022. The Cri.M.A.No. 134/2022 is in respect of grant of maintenance and other allowances. The respondent no.2 has filed the said proceedings against the husband as well as all the other in Laws / petitioner Nos. 3 to 5 herein. Since the respondent No.2 is claiming maintenance and allowances, the same shall be permissible against the husband and not khs/Oct.2025/46

- 2 - against the in Laws.

At this stage, the learned Advocate for the petitioners had withdrawn the instant petition as regards petitioner No.1 is concerned. However, those proceedings pending before the Lower Court are quashed and set aside as regards petitioner Nos. 3 to 5 are concerned. Name of petitioner No.2 was already deleted as he is dead, vide order dated 01.08.2025.
