The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that though the charge is framed on 12-07-2013, however, there is no further progress in the trial.

Be that as it may, we are not inclined to entertain the prayer of the applicants for quashing the pending proceedings bearing Regular Criminal Case No. 831 of 2009 for the offence punishable under sections 323, 324, 504 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. However, the trial court shall expedite pending proceeding and decide the same, as expeditiously as

2 Cri.A-119-17 possible, subject to co-operation by the applicants and also the complainant.

With aforesaid observations, present application shall stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
