Mr.Ghute, learned counsel for Respondent submits that if the petitioner is aggrieved with the order of not granting promotion to him and granting promotion to another person, an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner under Rule 14 of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964, lies and against the order of the appellate authority Revision is also maintainable under Rule 15.

In view of that, the Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail appellate/Revisional remedy as may be

permissible in law.

All contentions kept open.
