The learned counsel for Applicant, on instructions of the Applicant, who is present before the Court today, submits that during the pendency of this criminal application, the civil dispute between the parties came to be settled amicably and in view of the settlement of the said dispute, Respondent No.2 / original Complainant had withdrawn her application seeking directions for investigation as provided under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure before the Magistrate. The learned counsel submits that the cause for filing the present criminal application has been rendered infructuous. In view of the above, the criminal application is disposed of as infructuous. Rule discharged.
