Mr.Brahme, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is eligible to be promoted as Education Extension Officer. There are vacancies available. The Petitioner has given various representations. However, the Respondents have not taken any cognizance of the same.

The learned counsel for the Zilla Parishad accepts that there are some vacancies available and, on instructions, submits that the representations would be decided on its own merits. In light of the above, we pass the following order: I.

The Respondent No.2 shall decide the representations given by the Petitioner (Exhibit - 'J' collectively), on its own merits, as per its policy in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
