The petitioner and the contesting respondents seem to be at loggerheads in respect of apportionment of the compensation determined by the competent authority.

Both of them have put up their rival claims in writing. In view of the mandate of section 67 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, it would be imperative for the respondent No.4 to pass an appropriate order in accordance with the law.
