The petitioner is soliciting the caste certificate in the prescribed form since the certificate issued to him is in incorrect form. 3.

We have heard both the sides.

The petitioner has submitted the online application seeking corrected certificate when he ought to have submitted it online through the portal provided for.

Be that as it may, we dispose of the petition prompting the petitioner to submit a fresh application online, appear before the respondent - competent authority, thereafter within a week, surrender his original caste certificate.

The respondent - competent authority shall thereafter verify its genuineness and if it is found to be genuine, issue a fresh certificate in the corrected Form 'C' within two weeks of filing of the online application.
