The petitioner is awaiting decision of the Scrutiny Committee for validation of his caste/tribe certificate since the year 2013. He is in need of decision of the Committee in the wake of the fact that he has appeared for a civil service through MPSC and his name finds place in the merit and waiting list.

The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the Committee would decide the petitioner's proposal within three months. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent - Committee to decide the petitioner's proposal, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within eight weeks.
