PER COURT :- Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The challenge is to the communication cum order dated 20.6.2019 issued by the Collector, Nanded to the Chief Officer, Nagar Parishad, Naigaon, declaring that the petitioner stood disqualified due to failure to submit tribe validation certificate. It is not in dispute that while the election was held in December, 2016, the validity certificate is not furnished till today. In view of the law settled by the Honourable Apex Court in case of Shankar s/o Raghunath Devre (Patil) versus State of Maharashtra (2019 (3) SCC 220), the petition is without substance and is rejected.
