We have heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned AGP.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the reference under Section 28-A (3) of the Land Acquisition Act is filed in the year 2016, the same is not yet forwarded to the concerned District Court. The learned AGP, on instructions, accepts the fact about the receipt of the references and submits that the same were not taken in the inward register.

Not taking entry of receipt of the reference into the inward and forwarding it to the District Court amounts to negligence on the part of the respondent. Within 15 days from today, the Authority shall transfer the matter to concerned District Court.
