The compensation agreed in the Lok-Adalat held on 09.09.2017 was to be paid. An amount of Rs.1,19,23,671/- was deposited by the acquiring body in this Court on 16.04.2019, with interest. The petitioner has withdrawn the said amount. 2.

The petitioner submits that an amount of Rs.23,32,305/- inclusive of interest is outstanding. 3.

The learned advocate for respondent Nos.3 and 4 submits that a demand has been placed for the said amount and in less than two months, the said amount would be directly paid to the petitioner.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.

However, we clarify that after the above stated amount is paid, if the petitioner has any grievance about the amount or interest component, he would be at liberty to calculate the said amount and tender it to respondent Nos.3 and 4 seeking payment. If the dispute still persists, the petitioner would be at liberty to seek redressal of his grievance by availing of a remedy as is permissible in law.
