DATE : 13th January, 2022 P.C.:- Learned counsel Shri Bhosle for the applicant submits that the offence was compoundable and in the Appellate Court an affidavit of the informant to that effect was also filed. Even then, the Appellate Court recorded conviction against the applicant by dismissing the appeal. In view of this and in view of the fact that revision is not likely to come up for hearing in the near future and considering the current pandemic situation having arisen due to Covid-19, I am inclined to suspend the substantive sentence. In view of this, substantive sentence is suspended till the disposal of this revision. Applicant be released on PR bond of Rs.15,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.
