Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The Contempt Petition is filed on the count that the Respondents have not obeyed the orders passed by this Court and have not decided the claim of pension as directed by this Court.

Mr. Kulkarni, the learned counsel for Respondents submits that the Respondents have taken a decision and have decided to grant freedom fighter pension to the Petitioner with effect from the date of his application. The Petitioner be

allowed to withdraw Rs.30,000/- deposited by the Respondents by way of costs and the same be allowed to be adjusted in the amount to be paid to the Petitioner by way of arrears.

We have considered the submissions canvassed by the learned counsel for the respective parties.

Delay caused in taking decision, does not appears to be an intentional one. The apology and reasons given, are accepted.

In light of above, the order of which contempt is alleged, is complied with, though belatedly. As such the contempt stands purged. 6.

The Petitioner is allowed to withdraw Rs.30,000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousand only) deposited by the Respondents and the said amount shall be adjusted in the amount of arrears payable to the

Petitioner by the Respondents.

The Contempt Petition stands disposed of, accordingly.
