Petitioners are claiming benefit of rental compensation. The Notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, as per the averments in the Petition, was issued on 5th December 1988 and possession was taken by private negotiations on

wp1938.06 18th December 1989.

Even as per the pleadings of the Petitioners in Para 2 of the Petition, possession has been taken after issuance of Notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act. As such, the Petitioners would not be entitled for rental compensation. Writ Petition, as such disposed of. No costs. Rule discharged.
