ORAL JUDGMENT (Per Z.A.Haq, J) :

Heard. Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. The learned advocate for the petitioners submitted that in view of the submission made by the Respondents No.4 and 5 in paragraph no.5 of their reply/afdavit, and if the Director of Education, Maharashtra State, Pune, is ordered to take decision on the proposal forwarded by the Respondent No.5Education Ofcer on 25.10.2016, the grievance of the petitioners at this stage, would stand satisfed.

As there is nothing on record to show that the Director of Education has taken any decision on the proposal submitted by the Education Ofcer, following order is passed: [i] The Director of Education, Maharashtra State, Pune, is directed to take decision within two months, on the proposal submitted by the Respondent No.5-Education Ofcer on 25.10.2016.

{3} [ii] The petitioners will be at liberty to submit representation in the matter along with any documents, if they so desire.

[iii] The representation shall be made within ffteen days from today and the Director of Education, Maharashtra State, Pune, shall take decision on the proposal after ffteen days but within two months from today.
