Issue notice to respondents. Learned A.G.P. waives notice for all respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding in respect of his caste claim is pending with the committee since the year - 2013. It is not yet decided. 3.

The respondent No.2 - committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the

2 wp 597.18 petitioner expeditiously and preferably within six (6) months. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 30th January, 2018 and shall not seek any adjournment. If the petitioner seeks adjournment before the committee, the interim protection granted by this court shall come to an end. 4.

Till the validation proceeding is decided, the employer shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. The respondent - employer can take further course of action depending upon the judgment that will be delivered by the committee in the validation proceeding.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
