The Petitioner's land has been acquired for construction of a Nala and the award has been passed on 02/07/2011. The possession of the land was taken over way back in June - 1999. The Petitioner would be entitled for the rental compensation.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner would make an Application for rental compensation. The Respondent - Acquiring Body shall decide the same on its own merits. 3.

So far as the amount of compensation is concerned, the Petitioner is said to have been served with a notice to appear and receive the amount. The learned Advocate for the Petitioner comes around to submit that the Petitioner would appear before Respondent No.2 - Land Acquisition Officer to receive the amount. If the Petitioner appears, the amount of compensation, which has already been deposited by the Acquiring Body, be paid to the Petitioner along with the interest accrued thereon.
