(07) WP-2465-2020 ORAL ORDER :

The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed applications seeking permission to run Urdu medium primary schools.

The Education Officer had recommended the proposals to the Deputy Director of Education. The Deputy Director of Education in turn, had recommended it to the State Government in the year 2015. The petitioners have made representations to the State Government, but the State Government has not taken decision on it as yet. 3.
In case the proposals filed by the petitioners seeking permission to run the Urdu medium primary schools are pending with the State Government (Page 37-38 in Writ Petition 2465 of 2020 and Writ Petition No.2499 of 2020 and Page 35-36 in Writ Petition No.2531 of 2020), then the State Government shall take decision upon it on its own merits as per the policy, preferably within six months. The petitioners may point out their grievance and the claim before the State Government.
