In C.R. No.0180/2016, registered at Police Station, Bembali, Taluka and District Osmanabad, for the offence punishable under Section 304-B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicants came to be arrested on 7th December 2016 pursuant to complaint lodged by one Ramling Tukaram Kolge whose daughter Renuka was married to Vikram alias Lakhan Shaji Dhumal i.e. the son of applicant No.3 - Kesharbai.

It is claimed that there was demand of dowry of Rs.20,000/- and four wheeler.

After arrest of the applicants, they were subjected to custodial interrogation. The applicants are women and applicant no.1 is 80 years of age.

Looking to the nature of allegations in the crime and having regard to the age of the applicants and their status as women, in my opinion, their further detention need not be continued. 5.
The applicants be released on bail in C.R. No.0180/2016, registered at Police Station, Bembali, Taluka and District Osmanabad, for the offence punishable under Section 304-B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, upon furnishing P.R. bond of Rs.15,000/- each with one or two sureties in the like amount. 6.
