Mr.Dighe, learned counsel submits that amendment to Section 63 (2-B) of the Maharashtra (Municipal Councils), (Nagar Panchayats), and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 is also assailed. The said issue be kept open.

The writ petition as such is disposed of. The petitioner may raise to challenge Section 63(2-B) of the Maharashtra (Municipal Councils), (Nagar Panchayats), and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 in appropriate proceedings. Rule discharged. No costs.
