The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the applications are filed by petitioners under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act in the year 2015 (Page 22) in Writ Petition No. 1320 of 2020 and in June 2016 (Page 18) in Writ Petition No. 1334 of 2020. Said applications are not yet decided.

The learned Assistant Government Pleaders accept notice for respondents in respective writ petitions. 3.

In case applications are filed by the petitioners U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act and same are pending with the Special Land Acquisition Officer, then the Special Land Acquisition Officer shall decide the same on its own merits, after hearing all parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (09) months from today. 4.

In view of the above, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
