Mr. More, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in Writ Petition No. 2281 of 2016, this Court under order dated 9.6.2016 had allowed the petitioner to fill in the post of Clerk in adherence to the relevant procedure and rules. Pursuant thereto the petitioner filed application with the respondent seeking permission to fill in the post. The same is not yet decided.

Learned A.G.P. states that the same would be decided on its own merits.

Considering the above, the respondents shall take decision on the application (Exh. 'C'), expeditiously, preferably within four weeks.
