The petitioners have sought the relief to the extent that the respondent Nos. 2 to 4 be directed to grant the benefits of Ordinances Nos. 163 and 139 (1) in favour of the petitioners and declare the petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 to have passed in IIIrd year examination and petitioner Nos. 3 and 4 to have been declared passed in the respective subjects. The petitioners were prosecuting M.B.B.S. course and they were seeking benefit of ordinance that is grace marks. The said exam was held in October/November 2001.
