Mr. Solanke, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is denied the promotion as Extension Officer, as juniors to the petitioner are promoted as Extension Officer. 2.

The petitioner would have a remedy under Rule 14(1)(B) of the Zilla Parishad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules . 3.

The petitioner may avail the alternate remedy as may be permissible under law. All contentions are kept open. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
